IV. Etiquette

When role playing, members should have respect for the people who are role playing their character along with yours also but limited to creative control of a characters background, skills, and physical looks.

When role playing you have to keep in mind the environment you are in. Your surrounding of other people and their character, non-player characters, buildings, even the small little creatures like bugs.

Remember role playing is supposed to help improve your writing skills, but when you write short choppy sentences that hardly make sense it annoys other members. Going back and rereading your post making corrections and/or getting someone to look it over before you post is helpful.

Posting non-game related messages and rambling messages is considered spam and not accepted in the role playing section. It kind of gets annoying when people stop the game to say nonsense. When people totally ignore the post from the person before them because you don’t like it or something is annoying. I mean your character could be in a different place but if someone posted that their character begins attacking you. Then you say your character get in the car and drives home. That’s annoying.

Posting things that your character couldn’t possibly do, or not having a weakness is annoying. Killing another players character without their say is just mean and not accepted. Plot changers who change the plot abruptly and goes down a different way then from the storyline because he doesn’t like the idea is not etiquette.

When role playing keep in mind that there is a difference between what you know and what your character knows. Meaning things that you know about another members character your character probably has no clue about. Keep past experiences from other forums out of the role play section. Its annoying how there’s a new storyline but you are already best of friends without even knowing each other.
